Pausing new orders
Settings → Pause new orders is a switch for the times you want your store to keep taking orders but want us to stop shipping them for a while.
When people use it
Section titled “When people use it”- Stock check or relabel: you’re changing a label or a formulation and don’t want the old version going out.
- Compliance or payment question: you’ve received a chargeback wave or a platform review and want to stop shipments while you sort it out.
- Cash flow: you’d rather queue orders than have them held for funds while a transfer clears.
- Vacation or a move: you can’t answer customer service and would rather ship everything in one batch when you’re back.
- Suspected fraud: a burst of odd orders you want to review before they leave the building.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- New orders sync as usual, reserve vials and money as usual, and then hold with the reason Client paused new orders.
- Nothing already picked or labeled is affected. Orders in production finish and ship.
- Tracking write-back, billing and everything else keep working.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”It does not pause your store, refund customers or stop your plan fee. If you need to stop selling, pause the products in your store as well.
Resuming
Section titled “Resuming”Turn the switch off. Held orders are released to the pick queue in the order they arrived and ship the same or next business day depending on the cutoff.
